Island Carpet's lineage dates back to the original Fains store in Providence from the 1920s. When Island Carpet opened in Middletown in 2004, the goal was to be the opposite of the big box store experience. Homeowners who visit Island Carpet can expect tailored guidance, white-glove installation, and a more personal experience than they would get from chain stores.
20+ years later, our mission is the same. We start by choosing a floor that fits the way you want to live. We don't try to sell you the most expensive floor, we try to guide you to a floor that will last your for years to come (and also looks great.) Our job is to ask you questions so we can understand your home and your project.
