Ken's Quick Answer:

Floors are big purchases. Before you commit to a patterned carpet, make sure you see that carpet in a larger space. You can find room scenes online or directly on the sample board itself.

Ken's In-Depth Answer:

It's important to look at room scenes of floors. I've said this before about selecting hardwood and luxury vinyl plank. While they should not be used to evaluate the color of a product, room scenes are indispensable for evaluating the character, color variation and patterns in a hard surface floor.

Well, what I said about wood and luxury vinyl plank is true for carpet, as well. If you're looking at a patterned carpet, chances are you can lift that sample up off the board and view a room scene of the product.

With room scenes, you'll get a real sense of how different carpet patterns will appear over the expanse of a room.

Be sure to look for the room scene pictures when you're shopping for carpet. If you have any questions about carpet selection, give us a call at 401-214-0285 or visit our showroom.
