You don’t want to spend thousands on a floor that has more color or character variation than you expect. So remember, when it comes to flooring samples, what you see may NOT be what you get. The solution is simple: See a bigger picture!
One of the most popular products in my industry is LVP—luxury vinyl plank. It does a tremendous job at imitating all kinds of wood.
But here's the problem: A lot of times, you'll be looking at a small sample book or a strap set of small samples (or even a larger sample) and you think that's what the product will look like on your floor. Not necessarily true!
Most often, we can offer a full-size plank for you to look at. And increasingly, samples will have a room scene you can take a look at right on the sample board. If samples don't have a picture, there may be a QR code that you can scan to see what it looks like in a room. Sometimes, you can even take a picture of your own room to see what the product will look like in your own house.
So don't just buy off the sample. Realize that a luxury vinyl plank that mimics wood can the same character and color variation that wood has. Protect yourself and try to see a bigger picture and try to look at a bigger plank. That way, you won't be sorry in the end.
