Luxury vinyl floors are extremely popular and can be used in almost any area of the home. But LVP on stairs? We don’t want you to trip if you’re wearing socks!
People are installing luxury vinyl planks everywhere. Unsurprisingly, I've had customers ask me about LVP on stairs. Well, good news: there are manufacturers who make these products. They come in two forms, one is a square stair tread which is great, unless you happen to have a protruding nose on the step. If you run into this issue, there's another manufacturer that makes a stair tread to accommodate that protruding nose. You can see photos of these products below.
In commercial situations, where you have a luxury vinyl plank floor and you want the consistency of that look up the stairs, that's a different situation.
At Island Carpet Tile & Hardwoods, we're experts at luxury vinyl plank stair treads. We'll educate you to see if it's the right solution for you. That way, you'll know you're installing the right product. With that in mind, if you have any questions about selecting luxury vinyl floors, give us a call at 401-214-0285 or visit our showroom. We serve customers throughout Rhode Island and southeastern New England, including Newport, Middletown, Jamestown, Portsmouth, Bristol and more.
