"Colorful and environmentally responsible, linoleum has a variety of benefits. It was also used on battleships—so you can be sure that it’s durable too."
In the video above, I show your two different colors of linoleum. One of them is fairly subdued, the other’s a little bit “sexy.”
You know, linoleum is a product that was almost entirely dominating the flooring business in the 1930s and 40s. They even put it on battleships—so you know that it was sturdy. Nowadays, we’re concerned with peaceful uses.
What I show in the video above is a new form of linoleum. It actually clicks together and it can float over an existing floor. (It comes in 12” x 12” and 12” x 36” sizes.)
But, floating linoleum is not your only choice! There’s also glue-down linoleum, glue-down sheets, glue-down tiles of different sizes. You have many different colors and many different patterns to choose from.
What makes linoleum such a desirable product? Well, apart from the color and the fashion, it really is a natural, sustainable product. None of that bad stuff. So you can get a floor that you can feel is environmentally responsible and beautiful at the same time.
So, if you’re interested in something different, something special, something long-lasting, and something colorful, consider linoleum. Whether you want to glue it down or float it on top of an existing floor, we at Island Carpet have a wide range of choices for you to look at.
